Boeing is saying that it is getting close to providing an update on its anti-stall software that may have been a factor in two crashes involving the company's 747 Max planes.

Those planes are now grounded pending an investigation.

Meanwhile Congressional committees are holding hearings on federal oversight of the airline industry.
